At my inaugural Sturgis Rat Rod Invasion show in 2015, I met a bunch of good old boys from Montana with a rat rod addiction. They came all the way from Billings, Montana to Sturgis for my show and were one of the first to arrive and the last to leave. Before the event, I posted on Spacebook and Instagram that I was heading from the West Coast on my way to South Dakota for the festivities of Sturgis Bike Week 2016. Lucky for me, one of my posts got the attention of Joe Rooney, one of those good old boys. Joe called and invited me to drop by his garage to check out his place and see some of the other rat rods and rusty relics that he had stashed around his place.
